Cindy Lee Duffy

Cindy was born on April 6, 1958 in Bozeman, Montana, a daughter of Charles and Martha Lannis (Johnson) Hodge of Manhattan, Montana. She grew up and went to school in Manhattan, Montana and later moved to Austintown, Ohio in 1987 with her husband and 4 children. She was a manager and worked for H&R Block for 28 years and retired in 2016. Besides her husband John “Jack” Duffy whom she married Nov. 28, 1981, she leaves her father, Charles Hodge of Manhattan, Montana; three daughters, Jenni (Keith) Carrier of Manhattan, Montana, Jacqueline Duffy of Austintown, Ohio; Skye Duffy of Austintown, Ohio; a son Marty Singleton of Lordstown, Ohio; four brothers, Dan Hodge, Jerry Hodge, Chuck Hodge and Jeff Hodge all of Wyoming; 11 grandchildren, Ashton, Alexis, Ariah, Keinan, Tyler, Austin, Nico, Dominic, Mia, Chase, and Braddick; and 3 great-grandchildren, Ryker, Ellakai, and Lukan. Cindy also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Family was the most important thing to Cindy; she was the light of her family. She enjoyed being with her kids, grandchildren and spending time with her family in Montana so much. Her family is also thankful for the light she was to others whom she helped, cared for and loved like family. She touched many lives by being the person she was. She was an amazing wife, mother, nana and friend. Her kindness and legacy will live on in those she touched. She will be greatly missed.There will be a memorial service Aug. 11 in Manhattan, Montana to celebrate Cindy’s life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
